Shelter Diversion Training

Shelter Diversion prevents homelessness for people seeking shelter by identifying immediate alternate housing and connecting clients to services and financial assistance so they can return to permanent housing. In Cleveland, we have found that this client-centered, conflict-resolution approach keeps many persons seeking shelter stably housed.

Diversion experts from Cleveland Mediation Center have trained over 30 communities nationwide in shelter diversion since 2014. 95% of participants rated the training as 'Excellent' or 'Very Good' overall.

This virtual training takes place via Zoom from 11am-5pm EST each day for 2 consecutive days. Participants must be available via video and audio for the duration of the training.

Registration fee: $300.00 per person

These trainings are open to the public. Please reach out to us if you would like to schedule a training for your group or organization.
